Surly Rim Tape for Darryl Rims, but can also be used on any other wide Surly Rims.

Surly rim strips serve a purpose and excel at it. If you're using an inner tube, it protects the rim from spoke heads and other sharp items in addition to covering the ding in the rim (well, so maybe they do two things, but both work extremely well). Rim strips are essential. Additionally, it must be applied to all Surly rims. We offer a range of colors for our items so you can genuinely "express" yourself.
Surly rim strips come in two different types of materials.

Nylon and pvc. Pvc is the finest material to use if you are simply laying pipes. However, our nylon strips are for you if you've heard about tubeless and want to give it a try. Because it's narrower and doesn't stretch much, it holds in place, fits snugly on the rim, and creates a tight seal. Additionally, it is lighter, which, as we all know, enables it to move more quickly.

Available in various colors. Used on rims with cutouts. Made from PVC material. Fits properly on the rim.
