The Roy Nasr Memorial Triathlon is the traditional UAE season opener held in memory of Roy Nasr who passed away over ten years ago. Roy was one of the founders of TriDubai and Race ME and was pivotal to the region's triathlon development. He was tragically knocked off his bike and killed by a drunk driver. This race celebrates his life in the sport. The Roy Nasr Memorial Triathlon takes place on Dubai Island, boasting one of the UAE’s fastest bike courses and cleanest swims on the new beach installation. This year we enjoy one race village and transition area.
