A Tough Recreational Canoe Paddle Which Features A Titanium Enriched Alloy Shaft, Inserted Down To The Tip Of The Blade For Maximum Strength. The Shaft Is Shrunk Pvc Coated And The Paddle Comes With Our Comfortable T Grip.
This Paddle Is Designed For A General-purpose Open Canoe Paddle.
AINSWORTH has been making alloy shafted paddles for over 45 years and slowly progressed to being able to process an aluminium alloy that surpasses all its competitors. This titanium-enriched alloy is the same spec as used for aircraft construction, it offers the very best corrosion resistance of any aluminium alloy along with a very high tensile strength.
In the AFT paddles the alloy shaft runs through to the tip of the blade and in the ABS Canoe and Rafting paddle it is inserted to within a few cms. from the tip. Both of these properties add significantly to the overall stiffness of the paddle and can only be achieved using this alloy.
